Clyra
about.
Clyra is a concept app designed to help individuals track and reflect on their moods through a clean, minimal interface.
The goal was to create a visually calming and intuitive experience, focusing on accessibility, emotional resonance, and thoughtful use of color psychology.
This project allowed me to explore product design, user flows, motion interactions, and mood-based color systems, while ensuring the overall experience felt simple yet engaging.

challenge.
The primary challenge in this project was to design a mood-tracking system that felt emotionally authentic without overwhelming the user. Each mood color had to be carefully calibrated to evoke the right emotional resonance while maintaining accessibility and contrast standards.
Balancing simplicity with depth was another challenge — the app needed to provide meaningful insights without becoming too data-heavy or clinical. Achieving this required thoughtful iteration on the color system, typography hierarchy, and interaction flow, ensuring users could log moods quickly while still feeling emotionally engaged with the interface.

results.
The final design delivered a clean, emotionally resonant mood-tracking experience. By combining a consistent color system with a minimal layout, Clyra allowed users to log emotions in under 10 seconds, reducing friction in daily tracking.
Early usability tests showed that:
Users described the interface as “calm” and “easy to use”.
The color-coded moods helped improve recall of emotional patterns over time.
The system achieved the right balance between simplicity and depth, encouraging repeat engagement.
The outcome was an app concept that felt personal, visually engaging, and practical for everyday use.
